RoboSense AC1 – Active Camera
The RoboSense AC1 Active Camera is a highly integrated, AI-ready vision platform designed for robotics applications. It combines 3D depth perception, RGB imaging, and an integrated IMU in a compact all-in-one sensor. Through hardware-level fusion of these sensor data, the AC1 delivers temporally and spatially synchronized information and significantly reduces integration and calibration effort compared to conventional multi-sensor setups.
The AC1 was specifically developed for mobile robots and autonomous systems and operates reliably in both indoor and outdoor environments. Thanks to its high resistance to sunlight and robust depth measurement, the sensor reliably detects obstacles, people, and objects even under challenging lighting conditions, reflective surfaces, or dark materials.
The fully solid-state design without moving parts ensures high mechanical robustness, long service life, and stable performance. In combination with the RoboSense ecosystem, the AC1 is ideally suited for navigation, SLAM, obstacle avoidance, 3D mapping, and AI-based perception.
